The purpose for this position is to sell advertising and marketing services including digital, mobile, social, trade show, sponsorships, and print.
First and foremost, this person must have a passion for sales and would enjoy the fringe benefits and fun associated with operating at the center of Chicago's hospitality community. The position is accountable for driving revenue into Concierge Preferred (CP) products and making sales goals. The person in this position will call on high level personnel within the visitor industry to sell our services. We are looking for someone who considers themself a real sales professional and enjoys selling digital, mobile, social, trade show, maps and print oriented products and services. This position is responsible for multiple categories including restaurants, attractions, nightlife, shopping, culture, hotels and more. Networking and entertaining is a must.
Primary Responsibilities: % Of Job
New Business - Cold calling and closing new business through various methods. Make a minimum of 9 meetings per week with at least 3 being prospects./30%
Existing Clients - Develop business with clients within your assigned territory to grow the revenue./60%
Admin - Complete required contracts and paperwork for order submission following established company policies. Provide clients with order information as needed or as requested. Complete and submit sales reports on a timely basis following established division guidelines./5%
Learning - Continuously improve knowledge of visitor industry by keeping abreast of changes in the market. Continuously improve knowledge of CP product portfolio./5%
